    Position Summary

    Setup, install, repair, troubleshoot, renovate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment and facilities. Regularly perform all duties as described for Maintenance Technician.

     

    Perform similar duties of, or assist, other crafts to expedite completion of assigned job and perform other typical duties consistent with the job factors as required or that may be requested by supervision.

     

    Must attend classes when provided by Company for improvement of above services or to increase teammate’s knowledge of a specific machine, machine part or service equipment.  Shift work is required.

    Qualifications

     

    2 years manufacturing maintenance experience and a 2 year associates degree in a technical field.  Required to read blueprints, written specs, micro-meters, verniers and other precision instruments.  Have knowledge of shop mathematics, use of charts and tables, dimensions of standard bolts, threads and tapers.

     

    Working knowledge of:

    • Industrial electrical systems (Installation and Maintenance)
    • Metal working machines
    • PLC’s (Modicon or Allen Bradley preferred)
    • Common tool bench
    • Welding
    • Production machinery
    • Properties of various metals
    • Fluid Power (Systems, Applications and Troubleshooting)
    • Machine Maintenance (Repair, Preventive/Predictive Maintenance and Trouble shooting)
    • Computers and Microsoft Office

    Know all phases of equipment and building maintenance, repair, installation and renovation.
