The Senior Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) functions as a key support for Firestone Industrial Products’ (FSIP) Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) customers in the coordination and timely completion of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), quality reporting, quality investigations and corrective/preventative actions (CAPA). The CQE also supports the overall Quality Management System by conducting audits of both corporate and plant quality systems. Working with cross functional Channel Management Teams, the CQE represents the Quality function and provides feedback and data on customer specific requirements, PPM and warranty data. Successful completion of the CQE functions helps FSIP to meet and exceed customers’ expectations of the performance of our products.
