Firestone Industrial Products (FSIP) Company began in 1936, wehn Firestone Tire & Rubber Company purchased a plant in Noblesville, Indiana.  Two years later, we designed and patented the first Pneumatic Suspension Device, better known as the Firestone Airide Air Spring.  Since that time, we have led the market in innovation and expansion.   Today, we manufacture the world's Number One air spring for lights vehicles, buses, heavy duty trucks and trailers, rail cars and industrial applications -  with office and manufacturing operations on four continents.   In additino to supplying Airide air springs to vehicle original equipment manufacturers, FSIP also makes air springs for the industrial market and the heavy duty and light duty aftermarkets.   In the enthusiast aftermarket, FSIP is an industry leader with the Ride-Rite, Coil-Rite and Level-Rite brands of air helper springs.


This position is located in Dyersburg, TN.



FSIP  has moved U.S. headquarters to Nashville, Tennessee.


    • Promote Continual Improvement
    • Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
    • Assess processes, take measurements, interpret data, and suggest improvements
    • Investigate and troubleshoot any problmes that arise with processes, procedures, and operations
    • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
    • Assist teams in carrying out implementation of the procedures you design
    • Manage cost and time constraints
    • Perfrom risk assessments and process capability studies
    • Follow-up on customer complaints and quality issues and develop effective corrective actions utilizing tools such as Fault Tree Analysis and 8D
    • Clearly Communidate ideas and findings to management and colleagues



  •  Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 3 years of Engineering experience, preferred Automotive experience
  • Excellent technical skills and eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and with a team
  • Proficiency with computer and information technology
  • ISO9001 experience preferred
  • Proven history in improving process efficientyMust be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment
  • Thorough understanding of scientific and mathematical principles
